- This year was a busy
one - with 56 picture albums throughout the year! This year was a busy
year with many fun and exciting trips and get togethers, and unfortunately
also the passing away of my Papou Jim. He fought a long and hard
battle against prostrate cancer and was able to beat out the doctors
predictions by 6 months. We dearly enjoyed every moment we had
with Papou, may his memory be eternal.
- As for the rest
of the year, on a more positive note, Jill and I went on many trips
throughout the year, after starting off the new year in
Ferndale with some of Jeff's friends (Jill's brother), I headed off to
Breckenridge for our final, 10th annual ski trip. It was a fun
trip, but as our group has changed in the last couple of years, it
made sense to finish off the ski trips back in Breckenridge, CO.
After we got back from the trip, Jill and I headed off to the Detroit
Auto Show, where I found my new car, the Dodge Charger - - although it
took me 3-4 months to decide to sell the mustang and purchase the
Charger! Some of the highlights of the year include heading
downtown Detroit for the Super bowl Winter blast festivities, going to
Austin for Brian and Charity's Wedding, meeting up with Derek, Emily
and baby Eva in Boston with Jill while I was on a work conference,
celebrating cousin Christina Gaggos' marriage, celebrating Yiayia and
Papou's 52 wedding anniversary, vacationing in trout lake &
crystal lake, hosting an engagement party for Jill's friends, going to
Heather and Bill's wedding (Jill's friends), celebrating my 27th
birthday in Ann Arbor with Jill, having Phil and Erika in from Florida
over labor day weekend, standing up in Paco and Becky's Wedding,
vacation in Chicago for a weekend with a group of Jill's friends,
heading to Spain for Paco and Becky's 2nd wedding reception, going to
Frankenmuth, celebrating Christmas with everyone, and ending up the
year in Chicago celebrating New Years eve with Paco,. Becky, Phil,
Erika, Brian, Charity, and of course Jill and I too! It was a
very very busy year with lots of ups and downs throughout the year - -
this one was a fun year, but I look forward to an even better 2007!
