It was time for our traditional annual family vacation.  Since we've been to Charlevoix so much in the past, we decided to try out a new location........this time in Upstate New York.  We picked a place that was more or less 1/2 way between Detroit and Boston so we could all drive.  My parents, brother, and sister, met up with me in Sodus Point New York.  We rented a vacation house right on Sodus Point (our house faced Sodus Bay, while the beaches of Lake Ontario were only a block away).  The vacation was very relaxing - the five of us enjoyed relaxing by the bay, sharing thoughts on how God plays a role in each of our lives, taking boat rides, playing monopoly,  and eating awesome home-cooked meals continuously every day :)   It was a fantastic vacation - be sure to check out all the pictures when you get a chance - in particular I caught a few during a sunset one night.....although the sun was behind the clouds the entire time, the sky was a bright orange and pink - it was a truly amazing view!  Enjoy!
