This weekend marked the first snowfall of the year in Boston. It just so happened that the first winter storm of the year was a Nor'easter.........which basically means a BLIZZARD!! Let me tell ya, I learned that one real quick. Here are some pics of the crazy amounts of snowfall that we got overnight - the storm is about finished now, and the totals in the Cambridge area are between 22" and 28" - this is so CRAZY!!! After all my years of living in Michigan, I've never seen a storm that dumped that much snow in one night. It took me 2.5 hours to dig my car out of the snow....and did I mention that this was the first time I've ever had to drive my Mustang in the snow (since I bought it just before I moved to Texas in the summer of '01). Lets just say that I quickly made a trip to the gas station to buy 175lbs of salt to weigh down my trunk!
